Rainey's Christmas Program

Rainey's Christmas Program at Treasure Cove was Tuesday night.  It included all 3, 4 and 5 yr olds.

He was so excited to see us in the audience.

On stage...our little sheep

He's really getting into it.

Taking a bow.

Check out these links for short videos of Rainey in action:

Happy Birthday Chip!

Not sure who was more surprised...Chip or the boys!

Enjoying birthday dessert

Misc pics

Cute crafts the sitter did with the boys one night.

Waiting for Chip to throw the ball and he can hit it!

Posing "again"

Aden said he's a "worker man".

Indoor purple sandbox, at a place called A Bunch of Fun.

My little chefs preparing lunch.

Rainey said he's making soup.

Aden's stacking a hamburger.

Snuggling on the couch with my boys on a cold night.

Aden holding on tight to Chip's bottle of Maker's Mark.  The way he's sitting looks like he had a couple of sips.

Yep, too much to drink!

Don't forget to click on the "November slideshow" in the right column to see all our pictures for November.

Aden's Christmas program

Treasure Cove had their 1-2 yr olds Christmas program today.  Aden is the cute pig.  He did not perform but he didn't cry either :)

Rainey is having his program next Tuesday night.

Two-year-olds...they sang three songs before bringing out the 1-yr-olds.

I think he's over this!

The video is too big to post on the blog but I loaded it on YouTube.  Click the link to view:

Christmas decorations

The boys helped me decorate the tree Sunday and surprise Daddy when he got home.

Cheese!

Standing in front of our new stockings

Someone was happy to see Daddy

Chip went hunting this past weekend and left me to explain to Rainey why he was going to kill "reindeer".  Rainey was so excited to see him when he got home that he had the giggles.  He said maybe when he gets older, he can go too...that would be great!!

Dickens on the Strand

Let the Christmas festivities begin.  Last night I took the boys to a church down the street that was having a Drive-Through Christmas Program.  I rolled the windows down and we drove past 10-11 live scenes listening to the CD they gave us explaining the life of Jesus from birth until Christmas today as we know it.  They loved it.

Then today I took the boys to Dickens on the Strand in Galveston.  We went last year when Chip was working out of the country and we went again this year while he hunted.  Maybe one year he'll be able to go with us.  The boys were so good that we stayed 3 1/2 hours :)

Enjoying the petting zoo

Thank you to the stranger that helped me take pictures

Face painting, foot long sausage on a stick and lemonade...happy boys.

Waiting patiently for the parade to start.

Showing off their snowflake cookie on our way out.

Five minutes later walking back to van, Rainey falls asleep.  Aden feel asleep right after I drove out of the parking lot.  Success!!!

Happy Thanksgiving 2011

We were so grateful to have Oma, Opa and Aunt T with us for Thanksgiving this year.

Perfect turkey by Oma.  Thanks for cooking our entire Thanksgiving meal.

Aden sitting at the bar like a big boy.

The boys watching their new train as it goes around our tree (no ornaments yet).

A big Gunner in our front yard.

Rainey and Aden (in background) coming back from a walk with Oma and Aunt T.  Both boys feel asleep before they got home.
