CFA tour

The boys and girls (Maddy and Lizzie) got to go on a tour of Chick-fil-a's kitchen and enjoy some free ice cream.  It was so much fun and interesting!!!

So instead of buying new car seats (because I was getting bored with the other ones), I bought new covers.  The boys love the guitars!!

Mother's Day Celebration

Saturday night I took the boys to Mission Burrito for dinner and then we enjoyed live outdoor music.  The boys even got to pick out a flower for me for Mother's Day.  They were so sweet!

Dragon Boat Races

The boys and I attended our very first dragon boat races.  The event was not very big but it was fun!

Muffins with Mom, Mother's Day Celebration

Wednesday at school was Muffins with Mom.  Last year, we sat upstairs, ate muffins, drank juice and took pictures.  This year, each class sang a song for us.  I wish I would have had my video camera.  Both boys did great.  And they each gave me their Mother's Day Gift.  (Sorry about the pics...I took them with my cell phone.)

South Padre Island

Chip is finally home from Singapore so we took a family vacation to South Padre Island (about 7 hours South of Houston).  This was Rainey's second time at the beach and Aden's first.  Rainey loved sitting in the sand waiting for the waves to hit him.  Aden wanted to play in the sand.  We had a cabana room which opened to the pool area, and within walking distance to the beach.  We spent most of the time in the pool as the waves were really bad on the beach. 

Chip began teaching Rainey how to swim in the pool with his floaties on and did great!  We also took an interactive pirate cruise one night.  The boys loved it!!!
