School days

I love, love the boys' preschool.  They learn so much and are very happy to go there.  Thanks to Ms. Achie for taking pictures of the boys during school hours.  It is neat to see them in action.

February fun

Rainey and Maddy climbing this contraption at the park.

Rainey made it all the way to the top.  He loves this thing!
Popcorn time

At "Mexico" (what Rainey calls the Mexican restaurant), having dinner and playing.

Watching "Alvin and the Chipmunks" at the movies...only had to get up once to use the potty.

After the movies...Aden feel asleep on the way to Rainey's speech.

Watching a movie in the van, waiting for speech to start.

Nap time in our bed.

There is a ladybug on his right arm that he found in the parking lot at school.

At the doctor for Aden's cough and runny eye (seasonal allergies), but it looks like Dr. Aden is checking out Rainey.

Blood pressure time.

One tired boy after not sleeping all night in his bed.

Cheeeeeeeeese.

Chevron Houston Marathon 2012

Chip ran his first full marathon in Houston on January 15, 2012.  He finished in 4:57:31.  Awesome job!!!

The boys and I met him several times on the route to cheer him on.  He was very surprised to see us for the first time around mile 14.  Rainey saved a donut hole and gave it to him on mile 17.

Waiting for Daddy at mile 14.

Still waiting...

And waiting...

Big hug from Daddy at mile 14.

Here comes Chip at mile 22.

Running towards the boys.

Waiting for him at the finish.

He did it!!!

The boys enjoying a post-race ice cream.
Playing at the mall with Maddy

Trying out the "reverse" camera on my phone.

Aden said he's making me look like Lizzie, his friend who usually has a tiny ponytail on top of her head.

The boys got a butterfly garden for Christmas.  Here is a caterpillar turned into a crystalline.

10 days later with have butterflies....10 of them.

Another "reverse" camera pic

We rode the bike trailer to the lake to feed the ducks.

Oh yea!

Pirate Rainey

Me and my boys

Mining for gold...yes, we have been watching the gold mining show on TV.
I am going to make gold nuggets to hide in their sand.

A day at the park after school.

Enjoying a pre-breakfast snack of walnuts, dried cranberries, and chocolate soy nuts.

Without training wheels

Rainey has been asking for several weeks to take the training wheels off his bike.  He said "I know how to do it" with confidence.  Well, he tried unsuccessfully.

Rainey has lots of cheerleaders to help him.

I'm trying to show him how to do it, and he's climbing the pole.

He's ready.

Now Chip's trying to show him.

In the beginnng...

One of several tries :)
