A Running Stitch

After dinner Monday night, we took a walk around our neighborhood to look at Christmas lights.  When we got home, the boys were playing in the garage with their Handy Manny chair.  Rainey sat in the chair first (pic #1) and then said "Aden, your turn" (pic #2).  When Rainey decided it was his turn, instead of waiting for Aden to get out of the chair, he pushed him over and Aden ended up with a busted eyebrow (pic #3).  I took the boys to Urgent Care and the doctor said it required stitches.  He did a "running stitch", one long stitch that minimizes swelling (pic #4).  Aden woke up the next morning like nothing ever happened pic #5).  He is a trooper and puts with a lot from his brother.

Nothing happened to me...what are you talking about?

Christmas Tree Lighting

This past Sunday night, we went to the Christmas Tree Lighting at our church.  We enjoyed popcorn, pizza, hayrides and pictures with Santa.

Someone doesn't like Santa....

It didn't help with me sitting there either.

Hand Painting Gone Crazy

Christmas tree

With Daddy away, I decided to put up a small Christmas tree this year.  If he makes it home for Christmas, then we'll get a real one and decorate it together.  It doesn't seem to matter to the boys, they like this one.

Shoe shopping

Shoe shopping wears the best of us out!

Aden's 15 month check-up

Aden is tall and skinny.  I guess it's from all the running around after his brother, or should I say running "from" his brother.  Otherwise, he is doing great.

Height:  2' 7.5 " (63%)        Weight:  22 lb 4 oz (18%)

Thanksgiving feast

Raining had a Thanksgiving Feast at his school.  Earlier that week, they made their own placemats.  If you look between his cup and plate, you can see his turkey made out of his handprint.  He was so proud of it.  Aden's class is still too young for a feast so he will have one next year.

We walked down the street to watch "tractors"...
construction in our neighborhood

Watching "tractors"

I was talking on the phone when Rainey woke up from his nap.
He climbed on the couch next to me and went back to sleep...
guess he wasn't ready to get up.

Checking out the fish at the park

Loves to eat with a fork...and spoon I might add.
He's pretty good at eating yogurt now.

This is how I wear my hat :)
