Peckham Park

I took the boys to the park yesterday to feed the ducks and play. It was 80 degrees outside with a nice breeze. Poor Rainey - his face gets so red just 5 minutes in the sun (and he won't wear a hat). Aden will be the same way.

Happy Easter!

The boys and I attending our church's Easter egg hunt yesterday.  The weather was beautiful, sunny skies and 78 degrees.

First Easter Egg Hunt at School

Rainey had his first Easter egg hunt at school.  He also enjoyed his first Starburst candy!  He thought it was fun to have it stuck in his teeth.  The school requested all students use an egg carton to ensure everyone got "12" eggs.  It was very cute!

Standing tall

At seven 1/2 months, Aden is standing anywhere and everywhere he can.  I love the picture of him standing at the window while Rainey tells him a story.

Push-ups and pulling up

Aden is already pushing himself up and pulling himself up on things.  Last night after giving both boys a bath, I put Aden on the floor while drying Rainey off on his changing table.  Aden crawled (yes, he is crawling and has been for about a week) back into the bathroom and pulled himself up on the side of the tub.  I walked in the bathroom to him standing up on the side of the tub. 

Birthday party/swing set

Rainey's 2nd birthday party was so much fun!!  Rainey and 12 of his little friends enjoyed running around at The Little Gym.  Thanks to Travis who took almost 400 pictures for us.  I've attached the link to view all of the pictures.

In addition, Chip, Nigel and Elliott put together Rainey's swing set on Sunday.  It was cold and windy, but they managed to finish it in eight hours!!  Thanks guys!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Rainey!!

Rainey celebrated his second birthday in style.  He had his two year check-up on Thursday and on his birthday (Friday, March 12), he had his teeth cleaned.  He is doing great!!  Since Chip and I were out of town this past weekend running the Dallas Rock-N-Roll 1/2 Marathon, we are having his birthday party this Saturday at The Little Gym.  It should be a lot of fun!!!  In addition, his swing set came in and I am hoping Daddy and a few friends will put it together for him.

Patio and sand castles

Chip is in the process of building a patio in the middle of our back yard.  Rainey decided he wanted to help his Daddy by building sand castles.  A few more touches and the patio will be finished.  I'll post pics soon.

Rodeo Day

Rainey had a great time at school today - Rodeo Day.  All of the kiddos dressed as cowboys or cowgirls and enjoyed a playful day.
