The boys have started gymnastics once a week and love it!

New pajamas!!

We love taking the boys to Studio Movie Grille for movies.  They have office chairs to sit down on (the regular theater chairs close on Aden) and tables.  This is Rainey with his blanket waiting before we go in the theater.

Homework, projects and library time

Four-year-old preschool is definitely keeping Rainey busy.  He brings home homework and projects every week to complete.  He loves doing all of it and asks every morning if he is going to school (both boys only go Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).

 

This week's letter is an "A".  He has to write a word or draw of picture of something that starts with A.  I first wrote down all the words he could think of that started with an A.  Then he picked the longest word...alligator.  He also wrote "ax".

Yesterday after school, we returned some books to the library and checked out more (dinosaurs and space travel).  Here is Aden ready a book to Rainey. 

The boys performed a puppet show for me while at the library.

After dinner, we headed outside to complete Rainey's pumpkin project.  He had to decorate a pumpkin drawn on a paper.  I made a copy so Aden would have a pumpkin to decorate too.

Here's is Aden's first pumpkin.  After he finished, he poured water on it to dry....hahahaha

Rainey's pumpkin.  He did 99% of the work.  I helped spray paint the noodles and buttons, and helped put glue on the noodles (bottle to hard from him to squeeze).  I think he did a fantastic job!!



The weather has been beautiful this week.  After dropping Chip off at the airport, we stopped at the zoo for some fun. 

On this morning, we had a "breakfast" picnic at the train park, played for awhile, then came home and rode our bikes to the pond to feed the ducks.  They were eating out of the boys' hands.

After only three days of school, the boys are already bringing home a lot of artwork. I made this art wall for them in the playroom. When they came home from school yesterday, they loved it!

Aden finally let me cut his hair and requested a mohawk like big brother.
