First T-Ball Game

Rainey and his San Francisco Giants team had their first official game today.  Each team got to bat twice and Rainey hit the ball hard both times.  They only get to run one base at at time but I heard a dad say if they could run more, Rainey would have had a home run :)  I am a proud momma.

San Francisco Giants T-Ball

Rainey had his first t-ball practice tonight.  It was so much fun to watch 13 4-yr-olds running around the field.  Rainey did awesome hitting the ball....I guess playing t-ball in the backyard really did help.  His first game is this Saturday :)  Yes, I am turning into that "soccer" mom and am very proud.

Impact a Hero

This race is for an amazing cause.  This is the second year we ran the 5k.  The boys ran the 1k. 

Impact A Hero is a non-partisan 501(c) (3) organization, created to provide a simple mechanism for individuals and corporations to help provide emotional and financial support for our severely wounded /disabled War on Terror veterans and their families. Donations are tax-deductible.

Family vacation

We took the boys to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX, for Memorial weekend.  It is a huge indoor/outdoor water park and resort.  Everyone loved it!  While near Dallas, we also took the boys to Medieval Times and ate at Babe's Chicken Dinner House (Chip's co-worker loves this place and it was good!).
