Muffins with Mom

It was that time of year again, Muffins with Mom (at school).  The boys always make the cutest gifts.  Each class went on stage and sang a song for the moms.  Aden didn't want to go on stage but Rainey did awesome.

Aden's gift to me.  His teacher said he really, really enjoyed growing the flower and helped her every day.

Rainey after the dentist.  They gave him some medicine to help relax while they filled a small cavity and then he passed out at home.  They said he did so good they didn't even have to numb his mouth.  He is such a trooper!

The boys helped me make teacher gifts.  I love seeing Rainey write his name.

Swimspa

Chip had to take down part of our back fence so they could drive the swimspa down the utility chase.

The boys enjoying the swimspa.  They start swim lessons next week but Rainey is already ahead.  He is putting his head under water and blowing bubbles out of his nose and mouth.  He even lets Chip pull him to the bottom and then he floats back up.  Aden just likes to sit in the corner :)

Man stuff

We got a swimspa this past week and Chip was so excited to build stairs, aka "man stuff".  Rainey disappeared for a few minutes into the house and came back with his hat on so he could tuck his pencil in it like Daddy.  Too cute!

Later that night at dinner...he had a busy weekend!

The boys first 1k race

The boys race their first 1k race this weekend.  Aden ran the entire way!!  Chip said he would stop, take a breath, and then keep running.  Rainey, on the other hand, started off fast, then needed water, which they didn't have on the course, so he needed a little piggy back ride to the finish.  They did great!!!  It was more fun than the 10k Chip and I ran earlier.

Dentist

At the dentist again for cleanings.  This is the first time Aden actually let them clean his teeth.  He picked raspberry flavor toothpaste and Rainey picked chocolate.

Father/Son Adventure

Chip took Rainey on their first Father/Son Adventure at Second Baptist Church.  He was so excited!!
