Since the boys were out of school on Monday for President's Day and Chip had to work, I decided to take them to Oma and Opa's for some Mardi Gras parades.
We had a busy, busy weekend. Friday night we ate dinner at Catfish Charley's. Saturday morning we went to an indoor pool. Sunday we went to D'Iberville's Mardi Gras parade and then Monday we went to the Children's Parade in Biloxi.
They were very excited when they got to ride the bus from Oma's Community Center to the Children's Parade. Rainey fell in love with Ms. Cleo, an 83 yr old lady that helped him catch beads at both parades.
We also got to watch Opa throw his net in the water. He only caught one little fish, which surprisingly both boys picked up with their hands.

Aden didn't make it before the parade started.
Aden slept about halfway through parade and then woke up to catch some beads.
They scored beads, beads and more beads, stuffed animals, candy, a pirate flag, and a tomahawk thing.

Aden just stared out the window the whole time.
