Puzzles

The boys loved putting these puzzles together and so did I.  Look how big the pieces are!  Thanks Jackie!!

Mardi Gras

Since the boys were out of school on Monday for President's Day and Chip had to work, I decided to take them to Oma and Opa's for some Mardi Gras parades.

We had a busy, busy weekend.  Friday night we ate dinner at Catfish Charley's.  Saturday morning we went to an indoor pool.  Sunday we went to D'Iberville's Mardi Gras parade and then Monday we went to the Children's Parade in Biloxi.

They were very excited when they got to ride the bus from Oma's Community Center to the Children's Parade.  Rainey fell in love with Ms. Cleo, an 83 yr old lady that helped him catch beads at both parades.

We also got to watch Opa throw his net in the water.  He only caught one little fish, which surprisingly both boys picked up with their hands.

Just woke up from nap and eating with his eyes closed

Aden didn't make it before the parade started.

Aden slept about halfway through parade and then woke up to catch some beads.

They scored beads, beads and more beads, stuffed animals, candy, a pirate flag, and a tomahawk thing.

Aden just stared out the window the whole time.

Happy Valentine's Day

Each of the boys got a balloon, a card with "two quarters" and candy from us for Valentine's Day.  As soon as they opened the card and saw the quarters, they immediately put them in their piggy banks.

My little monkey

Rainey was so tired from all the Valentine's celebration yesterday, he feel asleep in the recliner before dinner with his box on his head.  Aden on the other hand was on a sugar high and would not stop talking.

Newest member of family

On our way home from school yesterday, we saw a turtle trying to cross our street.  We brought him home and gave him some bread.  I asked what they wanted to name him, and Aden said "Froggie".  Surprisingly, Gunner doesn't even care the turtle is in our back yard.

Valentine's Parties

The boys' celebrated Valentine's Day at school today and came home with lots of treats.  I have decided to let them eat all of their candy in one day so I only have to deal with their sugar highs one time :)

Rainey still gets diluted juice at home so he's downing his straight apple juice.

He ate the chocolate off the chocolate-covered strawberry.

Table B of Rainey's class - his class has 12 kiddos.

Aden's class - they have 8 kiddos.  Aden has on yellow/green shirt on the right.

Flirting with Ms. Tammy

On our way home with this Valentine's box loaded with goodies.

Aden's bag was loaded too!
Nap time in our bed.

Aden is passed out!

Pulled a chair up to the kitchen bar so he could steal my cookie.

Daddy took the boys to Lupe's, our favorite Mexican place.

Me and Rainey passed out on the couch, one day after my half marathon trail run.  Rainey acts like he ran too :)

School days

I love, love the boys' preschool.  They learn so much and are very happy to go there.  Thanks to Ms. Achie for taking pictures of the boys during school hours.  It is neat to see them in action.
