Chevron Houston Marathon 2012

Chip ran his first full marathon in Houston on January 15, 2012.  He finished in 4:57:31.  Awesome job!!!

The boys and I met him several times on the route to cheer him on.  He was very surprised to see us for the first time around mile 14.  Rainey saved a donut hole and gave it to him on mile 17.

The boys got a butterfly garden for Christmas.  Here is a caterpillar turned into a crystalline.

Without training wheels

Rainey has been asking for several weeks to take the training wheels off his bike.  He said "I know how to do it" with confidence.  Well, he tried unsuccessfully.

Rainey has lots of cheerleaders to help him.

I'm trying to show him how to do it, and he's climbing the pole.
