Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 was a whirlwind!  We left on Thursday to Atlanta via Biloxi.  We stayed the night at my parents to break up the trip.  We made it to Atlanta on Friday in time for Granny's Christmas party at the Giles' house that night.  It was great seeing everyone and watching the boys interact with Granny and the rest of the family.

Christmas morning was awesome!!  The boys have been talking about Santa for a month and couldn't wait to see if he came to Grandpa and Grandma's house.  They had so much fun playing with Bella, Roux and all their toys.  The food was yummy too (thanks Grandma Sissy).

Before leaving Atlanta to go home, we stopped at the original Chick-fil-a.  It was so good!

Christmas at Oma and Opa's

18th century wheelbarrow Opa made for Aden, which ended up being Rainey's and then he made another one for Aden

The boys were so tired when we got home from traveling....

Who needs presents....just give them a box.

So excited to get a Jeep for the back/front yards...thanks Oma and Opa.

First go around

Aden's Christmas present to me, which he made at school.  Rainey made a bell out of a clay pot turned upside down and he painted it.  Too cute!

We took a lot of pictures over Christmas weekend so please check them out Picasa.

Santa

Aden wouldn't sit in Santa's lap but stand next to Rainey, opposite Santa.

School Christmas Parties

The boys had their Christmas parties at school on Wednesday.  They each had snacks and participated in a book exchange.  It was also their last day of school until after the holidays.

Trying to get a cute picture of them in their Christmas outfits.

Sweet boy

Waiting for the party to get started

Prayers before snack...the other half of his class is at another table.

He was so excited that he took it to his teacher, Ms. Cindy, to show her.

Christmas cookies

I helped the boys make Christmas sugar cookies this morning.  They were so excited!!  They made Christmas trees, bells, gingerbread men and stars.  Aden didn't know what to do with the sprinkles so he just poured them on one cookie.  It still looked good to him :)

Trying to decide which shape to use

Getting into it

Watching the cookies bake

Iced and ready for sprinkles

He was very good at using the sprinkles
