Blue Bell Creamery

Becky and I decided to take our kiddos to the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham this morning.  We had a great time!  The tour lasted about 30 minutes (no cameras) and then we enjoyed a scoop of ice cream at the end.  Over the summer, they would have approx. 1,000 people per day tour their facility.  That is amazing!  Luckily, schools back in session and it wasn't that busy.

What happens when you leave the pantry door open?  A mess!!

Rainey loves "choc-milk" (chocolate milk).  He only gets it when we go out to eat; however, I thought I'd try the sugar-free powder at home.  I used it one time and he liked it.  The next day, this happened!  Aden was playing in it like sand and Rainey was sticking his finger in it, licking his finger, and then saying "yummy".  Oh well, no more choc-milk at home.

First Haircut

Aden had his first haircut today and did awesome!!  He was just like his brother and didn't fuss one bit.  I was so proud of him!

Happy 1st Birthday Aden!

I can't believe Aden turned 1 on Sunday.  This year has flown by so fast!!

He had his one year check-up yesterday and did great.  He is 30" tall (50-75%) and weighs 21 lbs. 2 ozs. (25-50%).  He still has only two bottom teeth but his pediatrician said she expects the top four to come in at any time and at the same time.  I have stocked up on teething tablets.  Rainey went with us and as soon as the doctor came into the room, he climbed on the table, laid down and lifted up his shirt.  The doctor was a good sport and did a quick check on him.

I drove to Oma and Opa's house last week and left the boys with them for the weekend while Chip and I went to a wedding in Huntsville.  My sister was also in town so she got to visit with them as well.  Aden was taking a few steps by himself before I left for the wedding but when I returned on Sunday, he was walking all over the place!  There is something about their house because Rainey did the exact same thing and started walking there.
