Rodeo time

Today, Rainey and I went to the rodeo with several friends. We looked funny walking around. Everyone was staring at us. We had to follow each other in single file with the crowd and this is what it looked like: double stroller, stroller, stroller, stroller, and stroller. Yes, we had a lot of babies!! There were 5 moms, 6 babies and 1 kid. We could have had our own parade.

We ate a cheeseburger, french fries, corn dog, and blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Yes, Rainey tasted it all!

Atlanta Birthday

Here are a few pictures of Rainey's pirate-themed birthday party in Atlanta. Aunt Joy made a pirate cake with a dingy - which was all Rainey's to enjoy. And he did!! It was so good.

HAPPY "FIRST" BIRTHDAY

I can't believe it has been a year since this precious little guy entered our lives. He is the best and we couldn't ask for anything more.

Today we are celebrating with Oma and Opa. He loves his car and castle. Thanks for all the cool gifts!!

This weekend, we are going to Atlanta to visit Grandma and Grandpa, and great-Grandma. He is going to have his first birthday party there. I will post pictures when we get back.

First Haircut

With Rainey's 1st birthday a few days away, we got his 1st "professional" haircut. I already cut his hair about three times before.

This place was neat. He sat in a fire truck and watched a show while he was getting his hair cut. And the best part, he didn't seem to mind it at all!

Awesome quilt

Rainey received this absolutely wonderful handmade quilt from a co-worker of mine in Tulsa. It even comes with a matching pillowcase. The first day we got it, he pulled it off the couch and laid right on it. It is great! I love all of the colors and it is covered with dogs :) Thank you so much Barbara!!!!!

Outdoors time

With Spring on the horizon, we have been enjoying a lot of outdoor time these past few days. The weather has been great. Rainey loves the backyard. In the following pics, check out his camo onesie his Daddy bought him.

Finally....two more teeth

Rainey is finally getting two more teeth. He cut his first bottom two at Christmas time and now he's getting the top two.

It was another long night. He went to bed around 7pm and woke up several times until 10pm when he was screaming at the top of his lungs. I took him in the spare bedroom (as to not wake Daddy). That last about an hour. We then migrated to the recliner in the living room where I woke him up a couple of times snoring :) We were there from 11pm - 1am, when I finally put him back in his crib. He slept until about 6am.

We can see the top right has cut through his gums and it looks like the top left is trying to come through.

He is going to look so different with top teeth. He's had only the bottom ones for so long! He's such a cute boy anyway!
